This design was derived from the junction of 3 branches, a common feature in a village, ESSAMAN in the western region of Ghana. The 3 branches meeting at one point serve as legs and few additions make it a chair. The adage, 3 hands are better that one or two is demonstrated in the stability of 3 legs in this chair design. One or two will not stand. Decision taken by 3 people stands. ie three heads are better than one.
