African Hut Screen

African Huts have a unique design that can be described as indigenous African Architecture. They are basically mud walls and thatch roofs. The mud houses in the northern region of Ghana have colourful patterns on the walls.
The richness of these coloured walls are so pleasurable and captivating. This product is an attempt to captures this traditional architecture design. ie the colourful walls and the thatch roofs.

Akuaba Screen

Akuaba in the Akan language literally means DOLL. In past Ghanaian rural life context, these dolls are carried or kept under pillows by married women who desiring to give birth, are delayed for some reason. This act psyches the expectant woman up and makes her positively oriented mentally, to get pregnant. The Akuaba doll is a recognized symbol of FERTILITY and PRODUCTIVITY.
